New York Times writer and cartoonist Bob Eckstein will give a fun and humorous presentation on August 6th at the Lake Placid Library. He’ll discuss his New Yorker cartoons and the history of the snowman. After travelling the world for seven years trying to solve the mystery of who made the first snowman resulted in being the only snowman expert in the world.

Bio. I am a New York Times bestselling award-winning author who spent the three years raising awareness for independent bookstores with Footnotes From The World’s Greatest Bookstores book. I am a writer and cartoonist for the New Yorker (I’ve enclosed my latest in the new issue below), former MAD magazine and NY Times. I wrote last year The Illustrated History of the World.
