Ideas and conversation, for and by Adirondackers

A new salon series from Adirondack Center for Writing will invite discovery, conversation, and discourse between neighbors, strangers, and friends. Do you want to share your ideas, performances, or personal history with the public? Local writers, academics, historians, storytellers, and all wanting to share their talents are invited to pitch presentations for a slot in the salon series.

Presenters are expected to have an element of their own written work included. The goal is to engage in written material in new and creative ways. For example, a pitch could include multiple authors speaking on a theme, or a multi-disciplinary approach such as pairing storytelling and another art form like dance or music.

June 14 at Lake Flower Landing in Saranac Lake, NY

Applications. Our review committee will choose the presentation for each date. When pitching your idea, be sure to note the date(s) that you are committing to be present.
