Natalie’s Wars is the story of a woman who struggles through World War II on the homefront and then with a husband psychologically damaged by the war in the years after.
Set in New York’s Capital District and largely at the Watervliet Arsenal, Natalie’s Wars draws on histories of the Arsenal and related industries as well as interviews, letters, diaries and oral histories of men and women who worked in defense plants, served in combat, and had varied post-war experiences.
