I enter my passcode as fast as Chopin’s fingertips
I pull back the curtains and the light hits my lips
I’m riding “Safari”, with colorful sights
My world is dramatic, like stars of the night
The cultures of the world, gathered in one place
To radiate their brilliance, upfront of my face
But now it’s my time, I’m going to “Zoom”
To see my teachers and schoolmates, all in one room
And this is my life now, I’m sitting at home
I have all my friends, and I’m not letting them go
So this is why you see me with my phone out here and there
It’s because it gives me the power, to connect anywhere
My phone is essential, although it’s eating my time
It is the place where I’ve constructed, this beautiful rhyme.
