Midwinter Retreat

February 14-18, 2020

You deserve it. Get away. Spend time on yourself — your writing, your art, your creativity.

Find friends, fellow writers and artists, a new point of view in a relaxed, beautiful, and productive setting.

We may start the day with gentle yoga, make art, be inspired with creative prompts, share your work in the evening with fellow writers and artists in a salon-like setting.

Join this four-day, four-night retreat for as many nights as you are able.

Get inspired!

As a participant, you will:

  • Be a part of a supportive community
  • Get into the flow of your writing, painting, and creating
  • Make progress on your big work
  • Find meaning and purpose
  • Know your next steps

All exercises are intended for all levels. This retreat is perfect for the experienced, casual, and reluctant writer and artist.

The weekend is led by Mary Beth Coudal, a mixed media artist and essayist, who owns and operates the Writers’ Boot Camp East and was formerly the senior writer for United Methodist Women.

She has been published in the New York Times, Salon.com, and Self magazine and believes in the power of authentic writing and art to transform lives.
