Wild Words: Adirondack Teen Writing Anthology is a publication of the Adirondack Center for Writing, created to give teens a venue to publish their original creative writing. Any teen (age 13-19) living in the North Country is eligible to submit writing for consideration.
What We’re Looking For:
Poetry, short stories, short memoirs, and personal essays written by teens living in the North Country of New York.

To order a copy of the 2025, 2024, or 2023 Wild Words Anthology, send us an email at info@adirondackcenterforwriting.org. Suggested donation is $5 for pickup and $9 to ship. Donations are accepted through Venmo, PayPal, check, or credit card.

ACW has compiled a toolkit to help promote Wild Words in your community or classroom. You are welcome to duplicate and use any of these materials:
The Wild Words anthology originated with Visiting Writer Erin Dorney’s tenure (2022-2024) at the Adirondack Center for Writing as part of the Creatives Rebuild New York (CRNY) Artist Employment Program. In 2025, the anthology will be edited by ACW program director, Tyler Barton.
