I can see the color
is deepest, most intense,
in the center space
then lighter, lighter,
as it tapers to the edge,
so gently it seems
not to change, yet
still, there is change,
gradual, but sure.
Occasionally
contrasting objects float
before our eyes,
sharply different,
sometimes glowing,
sometimes tinted,
dull and gray, but
contrast all the same
against blue sky.
