Our Day

The rain came down
that day in June
They walk down a
new path of life
The rain came down
like cats and dogs
Clap in the sky
Clap by moms and dads
At last they sigh
The moms and dads
They say
Our job well done!
More rain came down
that day in June
A four year road
led to grow
in word and soul
The rain came down
It is done they cry
Hats fly high in the air
A new life they yell
All is well!

  1. Mary–The occasional rhyme and the repetition add music and charm to this piece. Brava!
