Publishing is an industry heavily populated by introverts—people who thrive on working in quiet isolation, only to then be asked to turn around and sell their work (and themselves) to the world as confidently as possible. This presentation and guided group discussion with bestselling author Chris Tebbetts will focus on how we can support ourselves and each other through getting started in the business, seeking feedback on our work, finding the gumption to attend professional events, promoting a new book, or getting up in front of an audience—all with an eye on remaining truly ourselves along the way.

Perfect for: emerging and established writers in the world of publishing
