Pen to Paper: (Re)starting Your Writing Practice with Julie Canepa

Maybe you always wanted to write. Maybe your new year’s resolution is to return to a stalled writing project. Maybe you just want to meet other writing-curious people in the region. This workshop is where you belong. Join novelist Julie Canepa for an accessible, no-experience-necessary creative writing class that will get your pen moving and help you establish a regular writing practice for the year. With engaging prompts, positive encouragement, and the community of other writers, you’ll walk away energized and ready to make progress toward your creative goals in 2025.

Julie Canepa is a writer and speaker based in New York. In 2014, she met Czech Holocaust survivor Vladimir Munk, whose friendship changed the trajectory of her life. She is the writer and producer of the Regional Emmy® Award winning streaming documentary Return to Auschwitz: The Survival of Vladimir Munk and author of The Missing Star, available at all major booksellers.
