Saranac Lake, NY 4/3/2019 — The Adirondack Center for Writing is pleased to announce that it has received a grant for $1,000 from Stewart’s Holiday Match. This grant was given to support the Adirondack Center for Writing’s annual High School Writing Retreat (pictures attached). Every October, 120+ students and teachers from regional high schools and homeschools attend the two-day event free of any charge.
This program was created specifically for young writers to be exposed to world-renowned writers, challenge their creative work, and to build confidence through writing and public speaking. In their pursuit of investing in new voices, Adirondack Center for Writing is proud to have support from Stewart’s Holiday Match.
