Our second of four Postcard Poems has arrived! These 5″x7″ broadsides feature a poem from a writer in New York State and artwork created in response to the poem by an artist also living in NY. You can purchase each broadside individually, or subscribe to receive all four!

About the writer

Our second broadside features the poem “The Green Light” by Jackie Braje. Jackie Braje is a Brooklyn based poet and the Chief Operating Officer of The Poetry Society of New York. With Stephanie Berger she co-founded Milk Press, and previously served as a poetry editor for The Brooklyn Review. Her work has been published in VOLT, The Los Angeles Press, Ugly Duckling’s Second Factory, Ninth Letter, the minnesota review, Statorec, The Quarterless Review, The Westchester Review, Stoneboat, and elsewhere. Her chapbook, “408”, was published by Bottlecap Press in 2022. She received her MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College, where she also teaches as adjunct writing professor.

About the artist

The broadside features artwork by Adam Robinson, based in Westport, NY.  Adam works in publishing and, too infrequently, in his backyard, trying to connect with other people by connecting to nature. He runs Publishing Genius, an award winning small press, and is the author of two collections of poetry, Adam Robison and Other Poems and Say Poem.
