• Barkreaders with Patrice Keet

    Where can you discover new North Country writers and also share some work of your own? BarkReaders takes place every other month here at ACW in Saranac Lake, NY. Each reading will include an open mic and feature a North Country author presenting a recent book publication.

  • Barkreaders with Kim Van Alkemade

    Kim Van Alkemade will read from her latest historical fiction novel, Counting Lost Stars, about a pioneering woman computer programmer in 1960 who helps a Holocaust survivor discover his mother’s fate. Open mic to follow: anyone can sign up to share a short piece of writing. We'll end with a book sale and signing

  • Barkreaders: Richard Levine

    Poet Richard Levine (Seward, NY) will read from his newest collection of poems, Now in Contest (Fernwood Press, 2023), and then we'll host an open mic where anyone can share up to 5 minutes of writing at the mic. There will be a book sale and signing following the reading.
