Storytelling: Sense of Place
a workshop led by Nathalie Thill
SUNY Plattsburgh
4/29 – 1 – 5PM | FREE

SUNY Plattsburgh, Ausable Hall Room 0123. Ausable Hall is on the corner of Cornelia and Draper Streets, with parking in the lot on Cornelia at Ausable and Hawkins Hall.

Learn the fundamentals of live, unscripted storytelling with ACW’s own storytelling pro, Nathalie Thill. She’s the Executive Director of ACW and co-founder of the Howl Story Slam. She’s told countless stories in towns all over the Adirondack Park, and now she’s offering a free, craft workshop focused on how to create a sense of place in storytelling.

This workshop provides an introduction to the art of storytelling, with a focus on stories that connect to place and build or convey sense of place. Participants will draft and have the chance to tell their stories to one another.
