Jennifer Fawcett is the author of Beneath the Stairs and Keep This for Me, both published by Atria. Before writing books, she was an award-winning playwright and co-founder of the theater company, Working Group. Her plays and essays have been published by Original Works Publishing, Oprah.com, Third Coast Magazine, Reunion: The Dallas Review, and in the anthology Long Story Short. Lee Matthew Goldberg is the Anthony, Lefty, and Prix du Polar nominated author of fifteen novels including THE ANCESTOR and THE MENTOR, and THE GREAT GIMMELMANS along with his five-book DESIRE CARD series and the RUNAWAY TRAIN trilogy. MILES IN TIME comes out May 2025. After graduating with an MFA from the New School, he’s been published in multiple languages and his writing has also appeared as a contributor in CrimeReads, Pipeline Artists, LitHub, Chicago Quarterly Review, Electric Literature, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Jewish Book Council, The Millions, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, LitReactor, Mystery Tribune, The Nerd Daily, Monkeybicycle, Fiction Writers Review, Cagibi, Necessary Fiction, the anthology Dirty Boulevard, The Montreal Review, The Adirondack Review, The New Plains Review, Maudlin House and others. Liz Mugavero/Cate Conte is a bestselling mystery author, creativity coach, and devoted believer in all things magical. As Liz Mugavero, she writes the beloved Pawsitively Organic Mysteries. As Cate Conte, she writes the Cat Café Mysteries and Full Moon Mysteries. Her 20th published novel will be out in July 2026. 

When she’s not plotting fictional murders, she helps writers find their voice and bring their books to life through her membership community, The Creativity Lab, and her podcast, Get Writing.

Liz is also the founder of Muse Communications Group, a strategic communications consultancy helping leaders and organizations tell stories that inspire action and connection.


Matt Witten
 is a TV writer, novelist, playwright, and screenwriter who has written for Law & Order, House, Pretty Little Liars, and many other shows. His thriller The Necklace has been published in eight languages and optioned for film by Leonardo DiCaprio. Killer Story won a Foreword Indie award for Best Mystery. Matt wrote four amateur sleuth novels, including the Malice Domestic Award-winning Breakfast at Madeline’s, and has been nominated for two Edgars and an Emmy. His speculative thriller 51% came out in April, and NBC has hired him to write a TV pilot based on the novel.
