No doubt in my mind,
dear Naomi, that Gaza’s
oppressors want all its remaining
residents
dead. Witness
the two women shot to
death in a Cstholic church, one
of few structures still standing
where Gazans can find respite
snuffed
by an IDFsniper
ordered to do just that. How else to
understand the murder of two
women at prayer? Were there
caches of Hamas arms? the church a gathering place for Gazans
planning insurrection? or a simple
sanctuary
In a shredded land?
The Roman pope raised an outcry
others who could command
attention remained silent
the USofA sent more bombs
and Gazans continued dying.
And so it goes. My
condolences and my breaking
heart, dear Naomi, the little
I have to offer.
