He came to my door.
And he blew right straight through.

“Don’t you think that’s a bit rude, even for you.
You could have tried knocking, maybe ringing the bell.”

Super Gigboy sneered. “I’m pretty pissed
but I’m sure you can tell.”

“I have no idea. I haven’t a clue.”

“Don’t play coy with me. It had to be you.”

“Why are you angry? Why are you mad?
The web is now fixed.
I thought you’d be glad.
I just happened to be there when it blew.
And lucky for the planet
I knew just what to do.
My talent is special, untested as yet,
but I’m the only person on earth
who can repair the world wide net.

He stared at me, his eyes glowing black.
He really was angry, about to attack.
He wanted to yell, he wanted to shout.

“I said to him softly,
calm yourself down and please hear me out.
The internet was fried, about ready to blow.
It needed my help, and I was ready to go.”

“But It wasn’t that bad, it wasn’t that big.”
“I could have done it myself.
I’m in charge of all things gig.”

“You’re totally wrong son, it needed far more than that.”
And without my help the web would’ve gone splat.
But here’s a surprise, when they asked me my name,
I gave them yours, so you’d get all the fame.”

“Why would you do that, why would you care?
To give me the glory doesn’t seem fair.”
.
“My real name is Wonder Woman of the Web.
I fix all the worlds’ computers, but I prefer to be called Deb.
And I gave you the credit because you are my son.
I wanted to help you before I am done.”

“My mom? Are you sure, is it so?”

“It certainly is, and I think I would know.
Please keep this between us, please see that you do.
Because that’s now our secret,
between me and you.”
